Hello, I’m David Johnson, and I have been crafting exceptional leather goods for over four decades using the traditional techniques my father taught me. Each piece is carefully handcrafted in my workshop in San Antonio, Texas, using genuine materials and the right tools—no shortcuts, no machines. Leatherworking is my passion, and it gives me deep satisfaction to create backpacks that last a lifetime and become more beautiful with age.

To keep your leather product looking its best, we recommend treating it with a leather care product every few months and storing it in a cool, dry place when not in use.
